Luca Cappellin

Luca Cappellin is a current postdoc working with Dr. Karena McKinney. He also holds a position as Researcher III at the Edmund Mach Foundation (Italy). His current main interests are the investigation of VOCs in atmosphere-biosphere interactions and the study of the role of VOCs in protecting plants from biotic and abiotic stresses. Dr. Cappellin earned a PhD in Physics from the University of Innsbruck (Austria) and a MSc in Physics from the University of Padua (Italy). The title of Dr. Cappellin's PhD dissertation is "Proton-Transfer-Reaction Time-of-Flight Mass-Spectrometry". The thesis investigates PTR-ToF-MS fundamentals and the use of data mining methods. Dr. Cappellin is a recipient of the H2020 Individual Fellowship - Global Fellowship from the European Commission.
