Dr. Kuwata was a postdoctoral fellow from 2009-2013.  He is now an Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University in the Asian School of the Environment. While at Harvard Dr. Kuwata worked with the Harvard Environmental Chamber to understand formation, transformation, and physicochemical properties of secondary organic material (SOM) particles. Dr. Kuwata investigated these topics experimentally and theoretically. Dr. Kuwata earned a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Earth and Planetary Science at the University of Tokyo with Prof. Y. Kondo. He was also a recipient of the prestigious JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship.
