Patricia Guimaraes

Patricia Guimarães received her Bachelor's degree in Meteorology at the University of Amazonas State (UEA), her Master's degree in Climate and Environment by the National Institute of Amazonian Research (INPA), and currently is a PhD student at INPA / UEA. Patricia has experience in Geosciences with emphasis on meteorology satellite, acting on the following topics: Remote Atmospheric Soundings, Atmospheric Chemistry and Monitoring of greenhouse gases concentration, such as CO, CH4 and O3. Guided by Professor Rodrigo Augusto F. de Souza (UEA / INPA) and Professor Scot T. Martin (Harvard), Patricia has been developing her research related to atmospheric chemistry and air pollution. Her thesis seeks to understand the impacts of tropospheric ozone concentration on the urban area of Manaus (Amazonas, Brasil). Patricia can be reached at: guimaraespc.uea@gmail.com.
