Dr. Yingjun Liu was a graduate student in 2009-2015 and also a postdoc in 2015-2016. Currently Dr. Liu is at UC-Berkeley as a Sloan MoBE postdoctoral fellow, working with Professor Allen Goldstein and Professor Bill Nazaroff on indoor air chemistry. Dr. Liu earned a MS degree in Environmental Science from Peking University, China. While at Harvard Dr. Liu investigated isoprene photochemistry and SOM formation using the Proton-Transfer-Reaction Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer (PTR-ToF-MS), both in the laboratory and over Amazon rainforest. Dr. Liu's research focused on the hydroperoxyl pathway of isoprene oxidation, which is important for unpolluted regions of the planet. The title of her thesis is "Isoprene Photooxidation via the Hydroperoxyl Pathway".  Dr. Liu was a recipient of the NASA Earth and Space Science Fellowship (NESSF).
