Yuemei Han is a postdoctoral fellow since September 2016. She investigates the physical and thermodynamic properties of secondary organic aerosols by laboratory experiments. The dynamic exchange and reactivity of secondary organic aerosols are being studied through the uptake of various probe organic species onto secondary organic materials generated in Harvard Environmental Chamber. The role of particle phase and molecular structure in the diffusivity of probe organic molecules is being characterized. Dr. Han obtained her Ph.D. degree in Science at Nagoya University, Japan in 2013. She worked as a postdoctoral visiting fellow at Environment and Climate Change Canada, Toronto, Canada in 2013–2016. Her research interests have been focused on laboratory and field studies of secondary organic aerosol properties regarding their formation, evolution, and transformation processes.
